Your Fitness Training Options

YOUR FITNESS GOALS CAN FINALLY BE MET

There are many areas of fitness and many different ways of achieving the appropriate levels of health, stamina, strength, and flexibility. That’s why we offer a wide range of fitness training options to help you achieve your goals.

Training sessions can be carried out on a one-to-one basis or you can team up with friends, family or colleagues (up to a maximum of three people at our facility or unlimited on a mobile basis) and take advantage of reduced individual rates

General Fitness

This is often the by product of a weight loss programme. As the goal suggests the ‘general’ nature of this allows for fun and varied sessions – from boxing to pilates we really can indulge. Quite often people find exercise boring but would like to maintain a certain level of fitness for their own well-being. Your personal trainer can keep you motivated while improving your cardio-vascular fitness, preventing injuries and enhancing your general fitness levels.

Weight Management and Fat Loss

Probably the most common fitness goal people wish to achieve, but so often the one they fail to achieve. To succeed in weight loss, exercise and healthy eating are paramount. At the fitness team we can put a package together in both the short and long term.

Strength and Conditioning

Playing a sport often maintains a good level of fitness but to progress to the next stage in your chosen sport can require extra strength and fitness. We can develop personal exercise regimes that are tailored to improve your sports performance and level of achievement, based on the principles of strength and conditioning incorporating the various fitness components from your sport into an integrated training plan. This includes, though not exclusively, strength, speed, power, endurance, agility and flexibility. Effective programming in strength and conditioning presents the best synergistic combination for optimum athletic development whilst preventing the risk of injury.

Kettlebells

Women are the fastest growing users of Kettlebells. If you want to improve your cardio and get a lean, toned body there is no better fitness tool. Kettlebell swings will get your legs and glutes looking better than they ever have. You can tone, shape and do cardio all with one tool without any excuses. Kettlebell presses will give you a sculpted body with movements that are similar to yoga but with the added benefits of resistance training.

Kettlebells for men:  Kettlebell training is one of the best fitness regimes addressing strength, endurance and weight management. Kettlebell training builds functional strength, stamina and explosiveness that are ideal for sport. This kind of training is a fun, safe way to get in shape and stay in shape.

Pilates

Pilates focuses on building your body's core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repetition low impact stretching and conditioning exercises.

Pilates has been used for a long time as a method of exercise, moving the body through eccentric and concentric movements to lengthen muscles, strengthen the core and improve flexibility.

It has a number of benefits including improved posture, relief from back pain, improved sleeping patterns, increased strength and stamina (without adding bulk) relaxation and stress relief, improved balance and coordination, it can aid recovery after injury, and can help prevent osteoporosis.

Free Style Yoga

Free Style Yoga is a challenging yoga, designed to improve strength, flexibility and core stability. This form of yoga incorporates all styles from Ashtanga to Vinyasa, Hatha to Iyenga, get the best of all styles and enjoy this liberating form of exercise.

Free Style Yoga is not meant to be a spiritual experience,  it is based on yoga in terms of its breathing, focus and style, offering postures that work on strength and stability. There is no dogma, chanting or philosophy attached to Free Style Yoga

Fitness yoga is appropriate for many different target groups from those new to exercise who can use Freestyle Yoga as a gateway into a more rounded exercise regime, the fitter individual who will appreciate a challenge and benefit from the cross-training

Endurance

The ability to continue exercising over a prolonged period of time is very satisfying. The key to success is steady progression, remaining injury free, fuelling your body correctly setting realistic goals and not neglecting your other commitments! From Marathon to Iron man we can produce your perfect training programme.

Combat Fitness Training

Martial arts training can be an excellent means of keeping fit but the thought of having to spar or fight puts many people off. We can offer you non- confrontational forms of Boxing and Thai Boxing that are fun – and don’t hurt!

Boxing

We offer a wealth of experience that will provide you with a structured boxing regime to suit your goals and boxing ambitions. Whether you are trying to change your usual fitness regime, wish to learn how to box or aspire to compete! For many years boxers have been thought of as some of the best all round athletes in the world due to the demanding nature of the sport and their intense training programmes. We can provide for any age, ability, shape, size and fitness whether it's for stress relief or full contest preparation.

Sports Rehabilitation

We provide training services to aid the rehabilitation from injury and then the equally important 'prehabilitation', which protects and injury proofs the body. This reduces the risk of injury in the future. Our trainers have a wealth of experience in training individuals with a wide variety of issues, from back pain to severe bone breaks and muscular tears. Our trainers can help an individual carry on training towards their fitness goals through a period of injury.

Pole Fitness

Great fun and a real challenge! Gain upper body strength and flexibility whilst having a good cardio vascular workout, that’s slightly different from your usual gym routines.

A pole dancing workout can burn as many calories as a gym workout. It will tone and define your muscles, make you stronger, fitter, more flexible and agile.

The class involves dancing and gymnastic moves and during the sessions you will use a large variety of muscles, such as biceps, triceps, shoulders, abs, back, and a lot more.

Not only does it build on strength, but also on muscular endurance and coordination.
